Fuel Oil

Fuel Oil is a vital petroleum product obtained through the process of petroleum distillation, either as a distillate or a residue. Broadly, it refers to any liquid petroleum product that is burned in a furnace or boiler to generate heat, or used in engines to produce power—excluding lighter oils with a flash point around 40°C (104°F) and those used in cotton or wool-wick burners.

Applications

Industrial Boilers & Furnaces

Used as a primary fuel for generating heat in large industrial boilers, kilns, and furnaces.

Power Generation

Employed in thermal power plants and diesel generators to produce electricity efficiently and reliably.

Heating Systems

Utilized in industrial and commercial heating systems for maintaining optimal process temperatures.

Metal Processing

Applied in metal melting, forging, and heat treatment operations requiring consistent high-temperature output.

Construction & Roadwork

Used in bitumen heating, asphalt mixing plants, and other construction-related thermal applications.
